Handling a dispute

A dispute is what escrow is for. If an order does not arrive, or is not as described, you open a dispute while the funds are still held and a moderator weighs both sides.

Argue it well

  • Be factual. Dates, what was ordered, what arrived. Evidence moves moderators; emotion does not.
  • Keep records. The order and message thread are your case; do not delete them.
  • Give fair time. Shipping varies; opening a dispute too early weakens you. A stalled order after a fair window is a strong case.
  • Do not confirm receipt to be polite. Confirming closes the dispute path.

A dispute process is only useful while the market is reachable, which is one more reason the market keeps several links warm.
