What Zion Market is
Zion Market is a marketplace that exists only on the Tor network. It has no ordinary web address; you reach it through an onion link, using Tor Browser. Buyers and vendors meet on the platform, payments are held in escrow until an order is confirmed, and a moderation team resolves disputes.
The essentials
- Tor-only. There is no clearnet Zion. Anything on the normal web claiming to be Zion is fake.
- Multiple mirrors. Several onion links reach the same market, so a flood on one does not take it offline. See the working links.
- Escrow. Your payment is held until you confirm receipt, protecting both sides.
- Coins. Monero, Bitcoin and USDT are accepted; Monero is the privacy default.
Why it works the way it does
Every design choice traces back to two goals: keep the market reachable under pressure, and keep participants safe from each other and from onlookers. Mirrors serve the first goal; escrow, PGP and a strict no-clearnet stance serve the second. Understanding that makes the rest of this handbook obvious rather than arbitrary.
